An important aspect of the Buddy League is the inclusion of non-disabled peer "Buddies". These Buddies participate in miracles every time the teams play. They gain a sense of pride in that they are giving of themselves and giving back the opportunities that they might take for granted.
These volunteers are now in College or are Seniors in High School. They still actively participate as volunteers and coaches.
